I would give anything to work outside today - where is my outdoor office? It’s such a shame to spend a gorgeous day like this within four airconditioned walls.
You’re lucky. My office is air conditioned, but the AC is turned super-low by the office-management skinflints. With windows that don’t open, the office has become very hot. Worse, the boneheads down the corridor have bought a portable AC unit, and have its hot vent sticking out into the common corridor. Wankers.
Yeah, the best A/C story I have is from my former employer’s building. It was built to accommodate two separate office suites, but luckily we used both sides, as the A/C controlled areas didn’t match the suite layouts and the thermometer in my office would have controlled the other occupant’s suite. Who designs that kind of stuff? Are they really that stupid or are they evil?
