I love snow storms. Particularly on a Friday afternoon when they come with lightning and thunder and I’m being sent home early from work. And even more so when I’m walking through 5 inches of snow while passing traffic that’s creeping along at best. And, while I feel slightly sorry for those who have to drive in this chaos, I am also tremendously enjoying the one occasion when I, the pedestrian, have a measurable advantage over drivers. Now that I’m home, I am using this glorious Friday afternoon to start my holiday baking early - the only sensible way to warm up the kitchen!
